Regular Studio Rate: $25/hr, with a minimum of 4 hours, although sometimes I can make exceptions depending on schedule. A deposit of 50% is required near the time of booking to ensure your date will be saved. This also adds accountability on both our parts to commit to the date.
Cancellation Fee: Loss of deposit if the cancellation is not made at least 1 week prior to the session date. For bookings multiple days in a row at least 2 weeks notice is required. Please understand that most people book at least a few weeks before their recording date, so when someone cancels at the last minute there is no way to fill in that time slot with a different client.
You won't find a cheaper rate in St. Louis for the expertise and equipment that I provide. Don't forget that you're not only hiring an engineer, but also a real deal producer with ties to some of the best players in the city, as well as a great guitar / bass / keys / violin / ukulele session player.
